Christina Knight
Principal

Knight's entire career as an educator has been in Ascension Parish Schools. She is currently in her 32nd year in education. She began as a teacher at St. Amant Primary for 17 years. She then entered into various leadership roles for Ascension Parish.  Three of those years were spent as an instructional coach at Lake Elementary. Next, she became a master teacher for 3 years; one year at Donaldsonville Primary and 2 years at Gonzales Primary.  Her next leadership role was assistant principal where she served one year as assistant principal of Duplessis Primary. Then she became the principal of Central Primary and is am currently in her 8th year in this position. 

 

Erin Esneault
Assistant Principal

Esneault was born and raised in Ascension Parish. She received a bachelor's degree in elementary education from Louisiana State University and a master's degree in educational leadership from Southeastern Louisiana University. 

Her teaching experience includes Dutchtown Primary, Spanish Lake Primary, and  Donaldsonville Primary. She also served as a mentor teacher and master teacher.
